The ADB Greater Mekong Sub-region Communicable Diseases Project is maintaining a “Directory of Professionals involved in Communicable Diseases Surveillance & Response in the Greater Mekong Sub-region”. The purpose is multiple: the directory first helps enhance professional networking in all relevant fields of expertise, and facilitates the developing and nurturing of Communities of Practice (by identifying appropriate participants for regional face-to-face events -- workshops, forums, etc -- as well as for specialized electronic forums). Moreover, the Directory will allow a better filtering of information and targeting of interested professionals for specifics news (new pathogens, early warnings, research findings, new publications, experts’ mission, health system financing, etc). In other words: you receive what you want/need and not more (i.e. addressing the frequent information overload).

The Directory is open to all interested professionals in the GMS: from government, UN, International and bilateral organizations, NGO, universities, private sectors, etc.

In short, this directory serves as a public tool for a large range of actions supporting communication on and collaboration in communicable diseases control among professionals and across countries.

If you are interested to be part of the network and insert your name and bio-data into the Directory, please, download the icon CDC Directory of Professionals electonic entry form (91.5 kB).

The icon Directory of Professionals involved in Communicable Diseases Surveillance & Response in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (Second edition)_(1.39 MB) helps enhance professional networking in all relevant fields of communicable disease-related expertises, and facilitates the developing and nurturing of Communities of Practice; it  also allows a better filtering of information and targeting of interested professionals on specifics news.
