The Regional Coordination Unit (RCU) of the Asia Development Bank Greater Mekong Subregion Communicable Diseases Control project, located in Hanoi, Vietnam, serves as the focal point for planning regional cooperation activities. These activities include:

  • assisting countries in organizing regional events
  • centralizing project data and resources from the three countries
  • dispatching CDC-related information to targeted expert audiences in the region
  • facilitating the professional networking and inter-linkages among Governments institutions, international organizations and other external partners
  • contracting regional works (such as regional joint studies) on behalf of the Regional Steering Committee

The RCU has four staffs: a Regional Coordinator, a Program Officer, a Finance & Admin Officer and an Administrative Assistant.
